Australian Greens' Senator for South Australia met representatives from urban poor communities of Phnom Penh at HRTF’s office

On the morning of 17 November, 2014, the Australian Greens' Senator for South Australia, Mrs Sarah Hanson-Young met representatives from urban poor communities of Phnom Penh, youth group and monks in order to discuss about the human rights situation of Cambodia, especially regarding the sending of refugees from Australia to Cambodia. The activists could explain the dire living conditions they are forced to endured after being evicted to express their doubt and concerns about seeing refugees in the Kingdom.

Senator Sarah Hanson-Young went then to a field trip to HRTF's target groups (Borei Keila, Boeung Kak...) to see the real housing of the urban poor residents.
